Haydn’s op.76 no.1 third movement added!

The newest addition to the PartPlay repertoire is the third movement of Haydn’s op.76 no.1, a fast and furious scherzo and trio. This movement is a test of fast ensemble in the scherzo and a tour-de-force for the first violin in particular in the trio. It’s over in a flash, but full of considerable nuance that will keep players on their toes.

We recently made a few important┬áchanges to the site’s functionality designed to help us grow, and simplify the way in which our subscribers are charged. This included an update of our billing system. Monthly and annual subscribers should have received an email asking them to re-enter their payment information. If you haven’t yet done so, please go to your account page.

We are also hard at work on our next player feature, the ability to slow down the performance. Whether you prefer to practice at a different tempo, or you’d like to see a bit more detail on some fast fingering, we believe it will be an incredibly useful feature for all our players. More news on that coming soon…
